La Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas anunció la lista de nominados a los Premios Oscar 2024, con la cinta Oppenheimer de Christopher Nolan como favorita al liderar con 13 nominaciones.

Los actores Zazie Beetz y Jack Quaid fueron los encargados de revelar a los candidatos en las diversas categorías desde el Teatro Samuel Goldwyn en Los Ángeles.

Oppenheimer logró menciones en apartados clave como Mejor Película, director y Guion Adaptado. Sus protagonista Cillian Murphy fue nominado Mejor Actor.

La comedia negra Poor Things de Yorgos Lanthimos le sigue con 11 nominaciones, mientras que Killers of the Flower Moon de Martin Scorsese obtuvo 10 candidaturas.

Otros títulos que brillan en la lista son Barbie de Greta Gerwig (8 nominaciones), Maestro (7), y Anatomy of a Fall, The Holdovers, Poor Things y American Fiction empatan con 5 menciones cada una.

La 96a entrega de los Premios Oscar se realizará el domingo 10 de marzo en el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles, gala que promete ser una competencia reñida en las categorías principales.
